Diesen Spruch kannte und mochte ich bereits seit Jahrzehnten, woher er stammt wußte ich jedoch nicht.
Der Erzeuger dieses -wie vieler anderer mindestens ebenso launiger Sprüche- war meiner Aufmerksamkeit bisher entgangen.
Wie ich feststellen muß, ein schweres Versäumnis.
W.C. Fields hieß der gute Mann über den die deutsche Wikipedia zu berichten weiß:
Fields spielte trinkfeste, missgünstige, schlecht gelaunte Männer, die unter anderem Frauen, Kinder, Hunde und Bankiers leidenschaftlich hassen. :-D
